MY BIOGRAPHY
My journey has always revolved around two passions writing and adventurous travel. I began by contributing to my pharmacy college’s student newspaper, later leading healthcare communications in the UK for the renowned US advertising agency BBDO/Omnicom. Today, I’ve embraced my love for storytelling as a novelist.
Born near the rugged beauty of the Peak District in Derbyshire, England, my affinity for the wild has taken me on thrilling adventures across the globe. I’ve chased erupting volcanoes, soared in helicopters over Mount Everest and Angel Falls, whitewater rafted the mighty Grand Canyon, and trekked the sands of the Sahara on camelback. Adding a touch of adrenaline, I’ve piloted aerobatic Cessna’s and even driven railway engines, the latest in Cuba.
Balancing adventure with family, I’ve found joy sailing our fifty-foot yacht through the British Virgin Islands turquoise waters, sharing these moments with my wonderful wife and three daughters. Life is an exhilarating blend of exploration, creativity, and cherished connections.
Beginning The First Book
Embarking on my debut novel was a journey into uncharted territory, much like the wild adventures that inspire me. Writing became an avenue to channel my love for exploration and storytelling, weaving together vivid landscapes and compelling characters.
